Water protection in the Canton of Zurich protects drinking water🚰🚰 -- we protect their employees.📱📱

Water protection is one of five departments of the Office for Waste, Water, Energy and Air (AWEL). Operations throughout the canton, at 5 lakes & 150 watercourses, at 6600 km of sewer network and 215 wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) are part of the daily routine. In addition, there are over 200 on-call operations every year involving potential soil or water pollution. The AWEL has opted for the Uepaa® Safety App to support its employees in their lone work. Even for underground locations when cell phone reception is no longer available:

✔️Digitale Comrade assistance (Geo Casting Alarm 🆘)
✔️Out-/ Indoor capable (WLAN up to 5G 📶)

After the canton of Bern, our own canton is now also joining Uepaa AG. This month, the KOPAS of the respective specialist areas are undergoing training and the employees will follow in April. We would like to thank everyone involved for the great job and wish them all a good start 🚀🚀
