24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the wastewater treatment plant receives the wastewater load from over 10,000 residents and 500 commercial and service companies. Ammonia and ammonium nitrogen are denitrified and phosphorus is precipitated in complex biological processes. At the end of the complex purification processes, clean water is released into the torrent. A highly automated system regulates this purification process. Linus Bleisch and his team keep everything under control. If alarms are triggered, things often have to happen quickly. Working alone is often unavoidable and the safety of the employees has top priority:
