Over 400 Bluetooth transmitters ensure 🎯precise localization where 🛰️GPS cannot reach. This is how IWB Industrielle Werke Basel protects itself with the safety app from Uepaa AG:

Boiler house, gas compressor, secondary condensate, storage silo, main chimney, emergency water tank ... the list is long and spread over 7 locations throughout Basel.

Work in these zones is usually carried out out of sight and earshot of colleagues - lone worker protection is essential:

✔️Digitale Companion assistance (geocasting alarm 🆘)
✔️Out-/ Indoor positioning (GPS and BLE 🎯)
✔️Bring Your Own Device (Android & iOS📱)

Over 900 employees at IWB provide energy, water, mobility and telecommunications. The first large group was protected with the Uepaa AG safety app in 2021. Since this month, a further 100 employees have been covered. To this end, in-depth technical tests were carried out in advance, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons were programmed and placed, training courses were prepared, info screens were switched on, etc. ...but now it's time to get started! 🚀🚀
