The aim of Best of Swiss Apps is to promote the quality of Swiss app and mobile ecosystems by recognizing outstanding work, bringing ambitious clients together with capable agencies and actively sharing best practices. Here are some impressions from last year:

Uepaa is taking part this year.

Launched in 2012 as an outdoor and sports app, Uepaa has developed into Europe's leading app for occupational health and safety in recent years. The complete redesign, which has been available in the app since this summer, focused on various design considerations.

Back in 2012, when flat designs were just emerging, Uepaa was already focusing on innovative design. The competition had little to offer; if there were any apps at all, they seemed antiquated and awkwardly designed. Uepaa, on the other hand, set usability and design standards that nobody could ignore. With the redesign and technical overhaul, we believe we have taken another big step forward.

The jury is also convinced.

The new Uepaa app has made it onto the shortlist in several categories this year. We are puffed and grateful at the same time!
