🎯🎯 How do you get pinpoint location into the brewery?

In the brewhouse, brewing takes place around the clock – the bottling systems are damp and slippery – the tank cleaning takes place underground, often alone – the catacombs are extensive, with many ascents and descents – the storage area gigantic. Definitely a big undertaking in terms of safety! But a lot is being done to ensure that the cool blonde of the Feldschlösschen (aka: s'Original 🍺🍺) is sure to reach consumers. A safety culture that is upheld and lived, forklifts with collision warning systems, safety checkpoints with rental PPE equipment ... and don't forget the Uepaa app for compliant lone work:

This week we were able to accompany the introduction of the indoor tracking system. This involves an on-site installation of Blootooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons, which provide pinpoint information on the location of the victim during possible rescue operations. Once these beacons are programmed and correctly placed, they send valuable information about the floor, department, and work zones to the Uepaa app. Even if the GPS signal has been broken off for a long time. In addition, the Uepaa app has been configured to start automatically as soon as a zone with beacons is entered. So that nothing is left to chance.

Together with Andreas Sulser (Head of Security, Emergency and Fire Protection Organization at Feldschlösschen), the beacons were quickly programmed, labelled and ready for placement in the castle. Then it was down to the neuralgic zones, control boxes and final range and placement tests. After the work was done, there was of course a photo in the time-honored and beautiful brewhouse.
