ππ SBB diagnosticians: Now covered throughout Switzerland in accordance with SUVA 44094.
Technical faults know no working hours.
At SBB, diagnosticians are deployed when technical problems occur on trains that cannot be rectified by the train or locomotive crew. They diagnose mechanical and electronic faults on vehicles and rectify them - whether during downtimes, when trains are stationary in stations or on track fields. This applies to both Geneva and the Engadin, both in the south on Lake Maggiore and in the north on Lake Constance. The following SBB video offers a wonderful insight into how a diagnostician works at SBB.
SBB's entire diagnostics division is divided into 9 site teams in Switzerland so that they can be on site quickly in the event of a fault. Working alone is of course unavoidable. As a diagnostician, compliance with specifications and safety regulations is extremely important, and the Uepaa app is now part of this:
π‘οΈ Dead man's function (according to Suva-44094)
π 1st Responder (companion assistance alarm)
π± Bring Your Own Device (Android & iOS)
π¨π A SWISS LABEL product (100% CH quality)

Uepaa AG has been supporting SBB AG since 2015, now with over a dozen pieces of equipment in a wide variety of areas. Hundreds of employees rely on the protection provided by the Uepaa app every day. We are extremely proud of this long-standing collaboration and grateful for the trust placed in us, which enables us to equip new areas at SBB every year. We would therefore like to welcome Nenad Drca's team to the Uepaa family and wish them a successful rollout ππ.
