Located in the German-speaking part of the canton of Valais in Switzerland, the Visp site comprises a number of industry-leading facilities specializing in the development and manufacture of products for pharmaceutical applications. Products manufactured in Visp include mammalian and microbial biopharmaceuticals, small molecules, potent APIs, peptides and bioconjugates including antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).

With around 4,500 employees, Lonza is the largest employer in Valais. It is not always possible to avoid working alone on the huge site and this must of course be safeguarded in accordance with regulations:
